"Rolling" with the Punches, Still!

October 25th, 2006 at 07:48 pm

Alright, more info regarding my quest to roll my 401k in to an IRA, then from IRA to a Roth (fully aware that the tax man cometh). I am interseted a small-cap aggressive growth fund (WGGFX) for a portion of my money, and have been researching a more conservative place for the rest of it. I think I may have found it in PRBLX.

*FYI: I'm selecting socially responsible funds that perform rather in-depth screens on the stocks they choose, so I'm expecing higher than normal expense ratios...

Nice to hear you are doing so much research into funds! I wish I had that tenacity. By the way, leftover coffee is good for watering plants (re your comment)? Never thought of that....woudn it change the acidity of the soil?

paigu: i'm guessing it would depend on the plant, b/c i'm sure you're right about the acidity of the soil... all i know is i have one plant that gets all droopy sometimes, but after it gets a couple of ounces of cold coffee (as oppsed to just water), it's all perky again!

i know there are websites where they list whether a particular plant like acidic or alkaline soil... somewhere...
